Description: The 1993 series of Headlands Talks focused on the theme of sustainability, from a variety of perspectives including agriculture, medicine, philosophy and ethics, urban planning, and waste management. Wendy Jeanne Burch, Shinko Koyama, Ingeborg Weinmann, and Tim White join Joe Catalano to perform a site specific performance in celebration of the summer solstice. The three-hour performance-installation features sounds from the Rodeo Lagoon with improvisations on electronic and traditional instruments.
